...and still be able to maintain and gain an ample amount of strength. thinking about becoming one :)How many times a day should a Vegetarian eat?
Oh, I eat three times a day and I have plenty of strength. Tip, my day usually goes great when i make a smoothie for breakfast (bananas, strawberries, milk(soy if you prefer) and some raw nuts). Just make sure you get enough protein and lost of iron! Spinach is a vegetarian must have, when I come home from work i snack on just a few nuts (out of habit really, not because i get tired)
The whole you are tired all the time thing is a myth.
This is the easy part about vegetarian TIP; make sure you have your story straight and your facts lined up, because a lot of people are going to ask you dumb questions and argue with you, make sure you know what to answer when ignorant people start popping up. "god put animals on this earth to be eaten", "do you still eat fish?", "where do you get your protein?", "are you gay?" and the list goes on and on. . .
Good luck, its really fun
Whenever you're hungry. Why bother going hungry anyway? Just remember that moderation is the key. But you won't lose strength at all according to Jim Morris.

If you would suddenly lose strength and muscle mass whenever you go without meat, then everyone in the world would have muscle atrophy. No matter what you eat, our body is already re-building muscles every day cause we keep using them, so there must be other sources of amino acids other than meat.
I'm a runner, run about a kilometer each day and while I'm not a complete vegetarian, I don't notice any difference on weeks when I eat some japanese food and run, or if I only eat fruits (kiwifruit, melons), rice, bread, peanut butter, few other things and then run on that. Today I'll have a piece of blueberry pie ;) Will I lose strength? No. Gain muscle strength %26amp; stamina? Oh, yes! Wheat already has proteins, so even eating bread should be enough, but then you can also find some strange facts how lettuce has more amino acids than in the proteins of meat (proteins are made out of amino acids).
All what you'll hear about diet and exercise in life is based on myths, so it's best to do your own research, rather than rely on "facts I've heard in life". Grandma is no more educated on the subject than a bodybuilder but most seem to prefer to believe them rather than veg*ns %26amp; others who actually spend months on the internet reading about these things. I've been interested in vegetarianism and kindness to animals since 2007 thanks to Vanessa Ferlito ;) And yes, I know fish isn't a swimming vegetable - I just like vegetarian food but don't claim to be one.How many times a day should a Vegetarian eat?
