Sometimes you pay a lot for fancy foods, or eating out, but what would be the healthiest foods to eat in these tough economic times? Can eating certain foods help the economy?What is the healthiest food to eat as a vegetarian in tough economic times?
Not having a mortgage helps the economy, it麓s cuz of those who have mortgage and are not capable of paying that the economy crashed.

1)Raw Organic Milk, 8 oz: $0.62-Despite the bad press that raw milk has received, it is one of the best foods out there for nutrient value.

My answer is to not pay for fancy foods unless it is a special occasion, but even if it is you can always make your own food which makes it more special. To tell you the truth there really isn't anything called the HEALTHIEST foods any more, but what is best for your body is vegetables. Eating local vegetables is best for you because you are lowering the chances that they have been frozen for several days or weeks and haven't had preservatives added to them and it is also better for the economy of your country. Just remember eating only vegetables inst the greatest thing, it must be a balanced meal, you don't need a lot of meat, eat a lot of veggies the less cooked the better ( some veggies loose minerals and vitamins when cooked for to long) nuts, fruits, milk, grain ( once again try eating grain at its purest form) and drink enough water and no juices.
Eating local vegetables would definitely help the economy. Most local health food stores as well as most markets these days carry locally-grown food. Or perhaps going to your weekly farmers market and purchasing your vegetable from there. As for one being healthier than the other, they aren't. They are all equally just as important to a balanced diet.
