How can someone claim to be a vegetarian and humanitarian at the same time?

I don't get it myself. I only eat humans.How can someone claim to be a vegetarian and humanitarian at the same time?

Yes a person can be anything at anytime at their presumption. But I dont see being vegetarian is so related to being humanitarian.How can someone claim to be a vegetarian and humanitarian at the same time?

Probably for not killing animals? I don't follow the etymological connection myself, but they call animal shelters "Humane Societies" in some areas, so apparently humanitarianism has something to do with animals now. Humane treatment of animals maybe?
A humanitarian is someone devoted to the promotion of human welfare and to social reforms.



A vegetarian is someone who doesn't eat meat.



How exactly do you think these conflict?

does not eating meat cause gang wars? poverty? i guess you could claim it causes unemployment in terms of meat farmers but um, i don`t think that is enough to claim that someone can't be a humanitarian and a vegetarian.
Someone can claim to be vegetarian and humanitarian very easily.
By only eating people who are in comas.
