Alright, I want to try going vegetarian for a while. What kind of meals can I eat that are healthy? I looovoe salad, but I know after a while it will get tiresome. And I really dont want to eat fried junk food all the time. Any suggestions?? I'm going to college and I need a way to stay healthy haha. What kind of vegetarian meals can I eat?
Pasta, pizza, burritos, tacos, burgers, stews, soups... pretty much anything can be made, or is, vegetarian.
I like vegweb.com for recipes.
lentil cakes
chickpea masala with garlic naan
sweet potato soup with kale chips
leek and potato soup
green pea enchiladas with cheese and red sauce
hummus and wholewheat pita
mushroom and spinach tacos
leek and asparagus lasagna
enoki and bean sprout wontons with tofu and water chestnuts in a spicey broth
noodle soup with crispy tofu skins and rapini ( crispy tofu skins are the funnest thing to eat, a bit like fried pork skins without the crying )
peanut and sesame soynoodles with gluten strips
cashew and pineapple rice
vegetable, chickpea and tofu kebabs in pita with shredded cabbage
sweet red bean buns with hot and sour broth
lima bean and white asparagus quiche
fava bean pots, with a cheesy wholewheat crust and baked pumpkin
roated yellow pepper pizza.
Rice, legumes all ways ( canned, dry, floured) are all cheap. Bananans, potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, corn, peas, apples, oranges, and seasonal veg, which, magically keeps changing throughout the year. What kind of vegetarian meals can I eat?
