How many times should i workout a day to gain weight?

I want to gain weight. Eventhough im a vegetarian, i've been eating a lot of nuts and pasta and drinking alot of milk (with whey protein) and eating fatty and healthy things. I've been working out twice a day for about 40 minutes each workout and i eat and drink right after a workout. Should I change anything or work out only once a day or is there anything i should change about my diet?How many times should i workout a day to gain weight?

ur diet is pretty good, i got a few vegetarian friends that i train regularly, i always tell them to drink as much milk as they can, like 3 times a day, and also try to drink the whey protein as much as possible too. nuts and pasta is very good. just workout once a day.and if u want to gain weight dont do any type of running or cardio, just do lots of weightlifting for 1 hour. and after every workout take lots of whey protein and milk right away/as soon as possible because after your workout your muscles get very hungry and suck up everything you eat and make your muscle much bigger. all the food you eat in the first 20 minutes after your workout goes to your muscles. your doing really good with your diet. i gained about 28 pounds just by following the stuff i told you in very little time. you can email me at shahzad473@hotmail.com for any more questions on bodybuilding.

Well if you want to gain muscle weight to a lot of cardio

jump roping is really good, running kick boxing

do some crunches for muscle in the abs and squats and lunges for the thighs and legs
