How to be a proper vegetarian/vegan?

Every time I try to go vegetarian, I find that all I eat is pasta and it doesn't make it as healthy as it is supposed to be.

What would be the right way to go vegetarian/vegan?

Answers preferably from people who are :)

Vegetarian cooking for dummies is a big help!

or Vegetarianism for Dummies I believe is a book too.

It goes into detail how to swap things out and how to get nutrients.

When I first went veggie all I ate was chips and salsa.

That book was a good starting point.

Or you can get vegetarian starter kits fee online just google vegetarian starter kit.

It's in my collection and I've been veggie for 7 years. Hope that helps! Good luck! How to be a proper vegetarian/vegan?
I can only give you advice about being a vegetarian. The best thing I did was go get some vegetarian cookbooks and map out a meal plan weekly. These books are full of healthy recipes. If you are just switching then you may not be aware of the wide range of recipes available. I know my boyfriend considers a vegetarian meal to be just carrots and maybe some rice... not exactally a balanced meal. If you aren't sure what you should be eating to be healthy try booking a appointment with a nutritionist who can help you map out what you should be eating. How to be a proper vegetarian/vegan?
