Do you recommend any good books for someone who wants to become a vegetarian?

I've been flirting with the idea of becoming a vegetarian for a long time, now. I guess I need an extra push to finally take the plunge and become a vegetarian completely (I've reduced meat from my diet anyway, I've lost the appetite for it). I was wondering if you guys know of any good books regarding going veggie. Not recipe books, though. Just something that's a good read. Thanks. :-)Do you recommend any good books for someone who wants to become a vegetarian?
Try "Becoming Vegetarian"

Not only does it give you tips and recipes on being a vegetarian, they also discuss the pros/cons and how to do it healthily.

Try "Diet for a New America" and "The Food Revolution" by John Robbins, "Mad Cowboy" and "No More Bull" by Howard Lyman, and "The China Study" by T. Colin Campbell. "Becoming Vegetarian" by Brenda Davis and Vesanto Melina is good coverage of vegetarian nutrition.Do you recommend any good books for someone who wants to become a vegetarian?
The authors of Becoming Vegetarian also have one called Becoming Vegan.

But, try Heretic's Feast -- The History of Vegetarianism by Colin Spencer. Or Beyond Beef by Jeremy Rifkin. Might as well learn the history about it, that way you will have a much better understanding I think. It's not some silly idealistic thing that weirdo hippies and environmentalists etc. do.
i've heard that skinny ***** is good. i think it has a lot of health reasons in it. i havent read it though.Do you recommend any good books for someone who wants to become a vegetarian?
