How can you be a vegetarian and be a pure health nut if you smoke cigarettes?

This girl that i know smokes cigarettes. She is a vegetarian and a total health nut, even more then i am. Yet, I found out that she smokes cigarettes, so why would some one be that dumb to watch what they eat and not eat meat, but hurt themselves 10 times worse by smoking? is that a turn of to any one when you find out some one smokes?How can you be a vegetarian and be a pure health nut if you smoke cigarettes?
She may be a health freak just to be skinny, not healthy. And she could be a vegetarian for animals, not health. That does seem very hypocritical though. And yes, I think smoking is a turn off. My ex started smoking and I never wanted to kiss him cause he smelled and tasted like smoke! Ick.How can you be a vegetarian and be a pure health nut if you smoke cigarettes?
That's kind of silly, but we all make our choices, and just because some of them are unhealthy doesn't mean that we don't benefit by making healthy ones. Of course, it's pretty silly to be a vegetarian, too. We're omnivores.
