I REALLY want to be a vegetarian?

I've tried to be a vegetarian 3 times now but it's not working my family loves meat but I just watched that video on youtube called meet your meat and I'm still crying No one thinks I could be a vegetarian but i really want to be one any ideas on how to turn into a vegetarian.I REALLY want to be a vegetarian?
whatever your family is having for dinner, don't eat the meat and either replace it with tofu/fake meat or just skip it all together

I would also buy a vegetarian book to help you make diet decisions that dont come with no meat...


I have been a vegetarian for 3 years now...my entire family loves meat and same with all my friends and my boyfriend. There are so many yummy meat substitutes from Morningstar Farms, Boca and Gardenburger just take a trip to Whole Foods, Trader Joes' or even Albertsons they have tons of vegetarian stuff. Even tons of restaurants have vegetarian options! Prove all your friends and family wrong and save over 100 animals for every year you stop eating meat!! I think you can do it just try your hardest.I REALLY want to be a vegetarian?
I've been vegetarian for over two years and I'll tell you my secret:

Take it one meal at a time.



That's what I did. Every meal just take out the meat and add some protein (dairy, nuts, eggs). After a while it becomes second nature and you'll already know what you can order off menus at restaurants.



When I first started, the hardest thing to do was eat the "substitutions". They didn't taste like meat and their texture was off, but trust me, it gets easier the longer you're vegetarian.



Lastly, you have to get your goal in your mind. If you're thinking about taking a bite of that steak, you've already lost half the battle. Positive thoughts.

first, why do you want to be a vegetarian? i'm one but it's because i'm not comfortable with eating what i wouldn't kill, i.e chicken, cows, pigs ETC. so......... the reason you want to be a veg is you watched a video on youtube? you are going to need to explain to people why u a re a vegi, including your parents, and if you tell them you watched a video on YouTube then all that will do is get your computer rights taken away, so get a good answer to the question " Why are you a Vegetarian?'

if you are going to be a vegi you know no meat, animal fats (gravy), or other (chicken broth, found in most stuffing, you can ask your family about useing veggie stock instead of chickn stock),

being a vegi isn't really hard, whenever your family is eating meat tell them your reason for not eating meat and ask them if you can eat something else.

My family LOVES meat also, i just eat something else like eggs, or veggies, or nothing.




Fake meat! I eat soyrizo and soy nuggets all the time, and they taste better than the real thing. If you can't let go of meat right away, start by cutting back on it. If you eat it every day, start off slowly by eating it every other day for a few months. Then you can only eat it once a week. Then you can cut out stuff like beef and pork. Then when you're already accustomed to it, you can let chicken go too.

you must transition

i started eating red meat less and less every week until i didnt eat any red meat at all

then i started conquering my love for chicken, i did the same thing and started replacing my favorite meat dishes with veggie alternatives like instead of meat balls and spaghetti i would eat meatless meatballs

or like instead of a hamburger.... a garden or boca burger

if you go to whole foods you will find a lot of vegetarian dishes

next if u like fish do the same thing with red meat
Whenever you see meat or hear about meat think about that video than think about one of your pets and imagine them on a bun that would keep me away than again once you have been a vegitarian for awile you loose all cravings for meat it all seams like sometihing really nasty for example my freind was eating meat and I wanted to throw up so badly also don't chalenge people about which is better because that is how u get into fights be a nice veggie person. lol Also they have soy meat if you still want the taste but again even that seems sickening after awile without real meat idk why.
My family eats meat too, so I have to make my own food a lot.



Buy fake meats like Morningstar farms. There's still a lot of normal things you can eat like burritos, pizza, salads, etc. Make sure you take iron supplements.

It's time to cut the umbilical cord and be your own person, even if that takes preparing your own food.

just don't look at them when they're eating.
Easy, just don't eat the meat. Pile on the veggies.
Just eat hotdogs until your sick of them
eat fake meat like boca and tofu for protein
plants are living too, they just cant scream.
