I eat meat, but a good friend of mine has been vegan for many years. Early on, she would go months without consuming any animal products,and when she did have meat it upset her stomach. Her body wasn't used to how rich the meat was. Just like when breaking an extended fast, you slowly reintegrate foods into your diet; first starting with vegetable and fruit juices and slowly working your way back up to meat.
Depends. If someone slipped it to you knowing that you don't eat meat, you probably feel angry and disrespected (and rightfully so). Stress and anger do wear you down. If you accidentally get something cooked in chicken broth, it's unlikely anything would happen. Ditto if you ate a small piece of lean beef, like a crumb of hamburger that fell off someone else's plate.
If you eat a huge amount of fatty bacon, you will get sick. You will have stomach upset and will probably have diarrhea for a day or two because you aren't used to all the greasiness.

it all matters on how it was cooked. If you eat a big pile of deep fried chicken or fish, you might have the runs and a tummy ache, but if you eat some lean beef, or a lean cut of meat not cooked in any heavy oils/spices you would probably be fine. Also, I wouldn't eat a TON of meat the first few items. Its best to work your way up. Your body will just absorb the nutrients. You wont have a heart attack or anything.
