I have a bottle of cheap, spice time chicken bouillon cubes and I was wondering if they are vegetarian. Chicken is not listed on the ingredient list - nor does it say suitable for vegetarians anywhere on the bottle. The only questionable ingredients are "natural flavors" and "hydrolyzed corn protein (contains glutamates.)" any ideas?Are "spice time" chicken bouillon cubes vegetarian?

Toss them. You'll never be comfortable with the idea of are they vegetarian or not. My guess is no. If they have "chicken" in the label there is certainly some type of non-vegetarian product in there. You say they are cheap...why bother keeping them? If you are trying not to be wasteful...give them away. Buy a broth or bouillon that you know is definately vegetarian if that is your concern.
