I am a vegetarian who has chosen to eat the prepared entree products from such places as Morningstar, Loma Linda , Worthington etc. What I have discovered is that the salt content is very high. Too much salt affects me- especially around the ankle. My other alternative is to use tuna and forget about the products.Preparing my own meals without the entree is not convenient at this time. Are there low sodium vegetarian entree products that are good for the heart and blood pressure? Are there low sodium vegetarian entree products?

You could try preparing dishes for the week ahead, and then just heating them up throughout the week. Tofu is an excellent source of protein and other vitamins, so if you just cooked some of that up, and added it to whatever low sodium dish you were eating, it tastes like whatever you put it in, so that could work. Other than that, I have no ideas, because yes, they do have a lot of sodium, but there are few products offered that are labeled low sodium, and most stores won't carry much of that variety, because it isn't popular. You could try getting a veggie sammie at your favorite deli a few times a week, also. They're as low in sodium as you can get! (If you say don't add salt, that is.)
Well, I hope this helped!
