I would love to hear everyone's different all time favorite Vegetarian dish so that I can have a good time eating, and still remain vegetarian.Best Vegetarian Dish of All Time?
take a portabella mushroom,
cut out the stem so it makes a little bowl. be careful not to break the mushroom.
place the mushroom on foil.
then pour general tsao saus in the mushroom to the brim. you can get this at raley's or trader joes.
top the mushroom with diced green, red, and yellow peppers and onions.
then careful put the mushroom (wrapped in foil) on the bbq.
bbq it for about 15 minutes.
you can also add mozzarella cheese or pepper jack or whatever you like. i personally don't eat cheese and think it's much better without.
Probably various kinds of pastas, i.e. lasagna, canneloni, tortellini etc. I also like pizzas of various kinds. Another good dish I often make is general tao's tofu. It's really tasty if you like American-Chinese food. Avocado and kappa sushi is also good. http://vegweb.com/index.php?topic=8769.0 (recipe for General Tao's tofu.)
My advice is to not feel like vegetarian food needs to be weird. Just make things you like to eat normally and leave the meat out, or subsitute something else.
For instance, say you like KFC and fries, you can make a salty and peppery batter and put it on tofu or fake Chicken breasts (like the ones Loblaws has) and still eat your fries.
Say you love BLTs, make a sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and a smokey cheese.Best Vegetarian Dish of All Time?
Vegetable and cheese pie! No contest!
Make it with frozen mixed veg, puff pastry, vegetarian cheese and vegetable gravy granules. It makes a lovely festive centrepiece, or is great as pasties served with baked beans.

I haven't tried it yet (i'm making it today) but it looks so good!
I can't choose one! But for now, if I could have one thing, it would be falafel in a warm pita with veganaise, cucumbers, carrots, and olives. YUM!Best Vegetarian Dish of All Time?
9 vegetable curry aka Navratan Korma! If you don't eat dairy products, you can substitute soy creamer, cashew milk, or light coconut milk for the dairy cream.

My favorite dish is carrot sticks. Every time you enjoy the wholesome goodness of carrot sticks you provide your body with all the essential nutrients it needs.

and ramen, snow peas, mushrooms, green%26amp;red peppers..
