I recently saw a movie in which it displayed the way animals are tortured to death, literally. And since I saw this movie I have wanted to turn a vegetarian and i have had a hard time trying to find what foods can supplement meat for me. People worry about what's in the "fake" meat that is sold, but really it's much healthier than actual meat. As long as you get your protein in a healthy form besides meat, you will be 10 TIMES healthier than a carnivore, I guarantee it.
You can replace ribs, bacon, any kind of burger, chicken nuggets, hot dogs, buffalo wings, (with the "fake" meat version of them) and what else is there really?

I have been eating veggie burgers and veggie dogs lately to replace meat ones. Yves Veggie is the brand I get and they have almost everything you could imagine in a meatless version (sausage, pepperoni, ground round, burgers, cold cuts, etc.) I have also been using vegenaise to replace mayonaise, there are so many alternatives out there for meat, dairy and eggs when you start looking. Even vegan pizza! Nuts, seeds, and beans are a good source of protein too. Good luck!
Just about everything else has protein. Most vegetarians consume enough protein without even trying! There's protein in:
-whole grains
-nuts
-peanut butter
-dairy and egg products
-beans
-soy products
-fruits
-vegetables
Protein deficiencies are rare- unless you are literally starving and malnourished. Keep in mind, though, that vegetarians do not ever consume fish- because seafood comes from ANIMALS of the sea. Vegetarians do not eat any animals =)

I eat things like:
- Sol Burgers
- Sol Hotdogs
- Sol Ribs
- Oh Natural Chicken Nuggets
And everythings all meat free, I cant even taste the difference its awesome!

Meat is replaced. You can eat soy burgers. Usually the soy beans die on their own so it they are not killed inhumanely.
