stop eating baconI want to become a vegetarian?
yes it is, but if you are in it for the health benefits then i would suggest going vegan as it is the most healthy and they tend to live very healthy lives.
Just don't eat meat and think in your mind how they slaughter the animals and blood, veins, and puss come flying out when they chop off the heads of the animals.I want to become a vegetarian?
Make sure you eat foods with protein in them. Alot of protein comes from meat. Peanut butter on your toast in the morning is one good way to get some extra protein.
Yes! This is a MUCH healthier lifestyle! Vegetarians live longer, healthier lives. That's a fact! You won't only look healthier but you'll feel healthier to! Dead flesh (meat) contains saturated fats, cholesterol, hormones, antibiotics, toxins and absolutely no fibre. Vegetarians have lower incidence of diabetes, kidney disease and gallstones and are less likely to suffer from heart problems! And have you even seen a fat Vegetarian?
You might have some temptations to begin with, especially if you ate meat a lot, Just tell yourself "Its a dead animal on a plate, it lived and breathed and It didn't want to die, nothing should have to suffer for my taste buds when theres other options."
Because, thats is what you have been eating, a dead animal, theres gunna be a lot of people who will hate on you for being a Vegetarian like saying things like "Its ALREADY DEAD! Why waste it?" and "God wanted us to eat animals." The truth is we can't save all animals, but we don't have to participate in the slaughter of animals. Theres a lot of veggies supporting you here and if you have questions we'll help you out!
Good luck, and don't give up. You'll see the difference!
I'm a beginner to being a vegetarian too! I just started yesterday. Don't listen to these meat lovers! Being a vegetarian/vegan is better for your health and better for the animals. What you do have to worry about is getting enough iron so make sure you do get enough of that. Some people say your not going to get enough protein but trust me you are fine. Also, you might have a hard time telling your family if your in your teens. It was hard for me because they all gave me crap. Get your free vegetarian starter kits from,

On goveg.com you can also Pledge to be a Veg for 30 days. That's when you pledge to be a vegetarian and its a lot easier to be a vegetarian after you pledge because them you have a big reason!
I hope you enjoy being a vegetarian/vegan!!
You need to make sure you get enough b vitamins and iron. Lots of cereals have 100% of these. I like total and multigrain cherios. Other than that make sure you don't rely on junk food . You should not have a problem with protien but if you are concerned about it there are great protien supplements at health food stores.
Good luck to you
people who don't eat meat are less likely to get cancer than those who do.
and people who don't eat meat, but eat fish are even less likely to get cancer than vegetarians :)
i am one of those people who eat fish, but no meat :)

It's not healthier. Usually the reason people go Vegetarian is because they don't want to eat poor, innocent animals. Honsetly, it's not what I'd call
"Healthier"
You are what you eat:
Herbivore(cows) stupid and timid.
Carnivore (lion) shrewd and king of the jungle.
Omnivore = vegan + meatarian (don't know what we are called) = having balance in life.
Peace
