What are some good vegetarian recipes ?

i am a vegetarian . but last time i went to the doctors i had a bunch of health problems . i need to start eating more foods with a lot of nutrients but i wanna have some recipes . any ideas ?What are some good vegetarian recipes ?

Fried of chip has suggested a great website, lots of interesting recipes. I think it's easier to eat healthier if you're trying new foods. Eating smaller amounts of the food you already eat just leaves you peckish and board with food. So, definitely check the site out for different meals.



The only thing I can suggest is a tofu scramble, it's delicious and full of protein. So, if you eat some for breakfast you will be full for a long time, and eat smaller portions at lunch and dinner. Goveg.com has a great recipe for it.



Also, try cutting up fresh veggies and leaving them in the fridge, so if you want to snack, you can go straight for them.What are some good vegetarian recipes ?

They are all so good and they are all different. I freeze leftovers in portion size for future meals. The recipes are flexible enough to add and delete whatever veggies you want.

You want to eat mostly whole plant foods and try to avoid consuming too many processed foods which includes both chips and fake meat products like Boca burgers.

Also keep in mind it's not too difficult to make a quick healthy meal like:

- veg burritos: grilled, sauteed, or roasted veggies, black beans, rice, salsa, guac, lettuce



- veg wraps: pick any of the following, your fav veggies, hummus, beans, pesto, rice, etc.



- pasta: red sauce or pesto, with veggies or without, with tofu, beanballs (http://crunchnmunch.wordpress.com/2008/0鈥?/a> or not



- pizza: make your own dough and freeze extras, or buy a premade crust and top with red sauce and your favorite veggies; pesto and tomatoes; white pizza out of ricotta cheese as the sauce and with spinach, mushrooms, and tomatoes



- soups: whatever beans, veggies (frozen or fresh), and grains that float your boat

some of my food suggestions would be

1.fruit salads{during morning breakfast},2 wheat bread /a small cup of corn flaKES WITH SKIMMED MILK

2.for inbetween snacks make a veggie salad usung cucumber,mint ,limejuice/2 biscuits

3.for lunch you can have a cup of rice,some veggies ,curd .or you can have a sandwich with some veggies

4.for evening snacks of Ur choice after the exercise

5.night dinner should NEVER be heavy.a glass of milk,a cup of fried rice



ok first if you are a vegetarian i would recommend

1.paneer fried rice

2.paneer tikka with capsicum

3.some easy sandwitches



for paneer fried rice just cook plain rice with sufficient water and drain and cool completely

fry one chopped onion till soft add some salt ,half tsp of pepper,soya sause and a pinch of ajniomoto,stir and add fried paneer{toss paneer in a pan with some oil} add salt and saute for a few mins .add rice and mix well serve hot



variation-you can even add a scrambled egg in the place of paneer{if not available}

paneer tikka



this is easy and delicijust take a cup of curd.add paneer dised,capsicum dised,and tomato,1tsp of red chilli powder,half tsp of turmeric and salt and mix.marinate for 15 mins heat oil and gently fry them .serve with ketchup



3 sandwich



add any filling of ur choice or jam and grill it on the tawa.u can also add sauce with shredded cheddar cheese.
