Are there any good vegan magazines out there?

Please don't suggest Vegetarian Times as most of the recipes are...well...vegetarian. I want good, healthy vegan recipes. I once saw an article about What is your favorite vegetarian food and the answers were pop tarts, macaroni and cheese and chocolate chip ice cream.Are there any good vegan magazines out there?
I certainly second your dislike of Vegetarian Times. It's as if that magazine heard 'veg' and figured that all of us veg*ans wanted recipes (and nothing else.) Maybe it would be okay if it were vegan, as you've said, but it isn't!

Someone else has already suggested VegNews, and I'd just like to second that nomination. It's a great magazine, a mix of all kinds of things, and they're always getting angry letters about how they make it seem like a bad thing to only be vegetarian, meaning that they're certainly vegan!

Other than that, if you tend more towards reading biased accounts of vegan activism (gotta love it, right?) then I would certainly mention Herbivore. Not only is it a great read, but it's also really great for finding bands to listen to! A bit difficult to obtain, perhaps, but worth it once you do-- eighty pages of vegan magazine fun!

Most of the articles and recipes require a subscription, but it's worth it.

It's the greatest- and the recipes are vegan. There are several in each issue, but it's more about news, politics and other things that effect people with a vegetarian lifestyle.

It's largely vegan recipes and there's tons of great stuff in here.
why don't you just go to a corn field %26amp; look at it...why a magazine !
