BQ- I always feel hungry all the time when I go vegetarian or vegan, I think I'm doing it wrong. Any advice on getting passed this is also appreciated. :)Do you feel healthier since going Vegetarian/ Vegan?
I agree with Kammy -much much healthier and much more energy. It's funny, I ate so much the food the other night at our local Ethiopian restaurant that I felt like I didn't want to eat for days! I guess it all depends on what, when and how much you eat. After 21yrs of being veg and 17 of those vegan i definitely don't ever feel hungry or like i could eat meat or dairy ever again.....

how can u be healthy if ur aint eating meat ? for example to shut u ppl up :only meat products have b12 and a definency in that is fatal.

Do you feel healthier since going Vegetarian/ Vegan?Its rare that Vegetarians have B-12 deficiencies. Remember, they eat animal products and eggs which have B-12 in them.
Vegans might get it, but its because they are eating wrong. If you're taking supplements, then you should be fine.

Also, you realize animals have B-12 in them, because they eat live in their own dirt and eat their own poo.
Thats where it actually comes from.

usually its because your caloric intake has been brought down.
1.) to go vegan you lose your b vitamins especially b6 %26amp; b12 (which are usually also found in energy drinks)
2.) i feel a lot healthier when i don't eat meat (meat rots in your system for 3 years till it fully digests)
3.) there's no way to do it wrong? i don't think its an activity to partake in, its a whole new life style. by saying you're vegetarian you don't eat meat and to be vegan then you don't eat anything derived from animals what so ever. if you're only loading up on carbs and simple sugars then i doubt you'll be getting any nutrients and should supply yourself with multivitamins.
i think the easiest way is to take small steps towards veganism
try to cut out the red meat first, then the white, then seafood, and then eggs %26amp; dairy...
it is healthy and good for easy digest but, u tend to eat more around the clock like u would if u were pregnant...
don't do it.. i was never full and i was very weak and lagging... my muscles were becoming just there...
i lost weight not that i needed to, and now i can't gain anything back!!!!!
vegetarian diet is quite healthy infact m also a veggie i think u have apetite problem whenever u feel hungry have lots of fruit juices
Much Much healthier and active.
In one way you digestion is quicker , but my health got worse and it made me feel weak and loose muscle.
