Do you think the time will come when everyone will be vegetarian?

Do you think there will be a day when all people are vegetarian. Not vegan, maybe but when no one eats meat. Or do you think that we will come to a time when factory farming is ended and people might still eat some meat, but more responsibly?Do you think the time will come when everyone will be vegetarian?
When meat becomes unavailable to everyone, only then will everyone be vegetarian.

I don't see that happening in the future because of morals or ethics. It's more likely to happen in the future because of land shortages and resource demands.

As much as I love eating meat (and it is tasty and delicious), I admit that it's not the most efficient use of land and resources compared to how much food could be produced on agriculture alone.
No. People will allways be aholes.

******

Edit: I meant factory farmers are aholes, not meat eaters. I think it can be done humanely but because of greed and politics, etc the industry will probably always involve unnecessary cruelty.Do you think the time will come when everyone will be vegetarian?
^So anyone who eats meat is an ahole?

My simple answer, no because we are omnivores by nature and it is instinct.
Never, i enjoy too much eating the flesh of dead animalsDo you think the time will come when everyone will be vegetarian?
No i dont think that will ever happen.
I doubt it very much. Meat eating in some cultures is so well entrenched that you would be unlikely to change peoples' eating habits which have remained the same for centuries
Sadly,no beacuse people will all ways want to eat meat.
NO
no.

=[

people just dont care about animals.

but well.. no definetly not... its a way of life... and thats how we are.

like how will carnivore animals live? they dont eat plants? so forr them to live.. they have to eat herbivores..

same with humans. we can survive by eatin plants. but will that satisfy our hunger or our desires? probably not

and ppl dont care bout anythign else besides themselves. so yeah
I do believe that someday everyone will be vegan, but i don't think we'll be alive to see that day. Our world is filled with ignorant selfish greedy people, most humans don't care to think about the impact their daily choices have on the planet and its inhabitants. See how many people say "i'll always eat meat because its tasty"? They don't care if there's an animal holocaust going on, they just want to eat dead decaying flesh, its human greed and its disgusting. There is no gain from eating meat, only loss.
One day all people who consume any animal products will suffer the consequences...
The world's population will never be completely vegetarian but there are many reasons that it will be close to 99% vegetarian by 2100. When the worlds population hits 14.5 Billion in the year 2100 there just will not be enough resources to provide meat for many people. Only the rich will be able to afford meat. If the US government stopped subsidizing meat and dairy today the price would jump over 100%. Just think of what would happen if they placed a 'sin tax' on food products high in cholesterol.
Pray for that day.

I feel ripped off that I was born into a family that weren't decent enough to be vegetarian.
hopefully not,

but there WILL be a time were people are smart, as long as people like you exist, that time still isn't here.
Well, have you been reading the paper and watching tv lately? I get national geographic magazine.. well i recently read how the food shortage is becoming increasingly worse. farmers cannot grow the fresh healthy "vegetarian/vegan" crops like they use to. So no, i most certainly dont believe there will ever be a day where people will be veg/vegans...it may very well be the opposite.. where all the vegans have to eat meat beacause they are the last living thigns to survive. Until those animals die because they have no crops to eat to keep them alive. =global warming.
No, because I will still be devouring a 500 lbs. cow in the corner! Go Meat!
