So jif peanut butter is not vegetarian because of an ingreadient called Diglycerides?

since Diglycerides most of the time is not vegetarian then does this mean i've been making a mistake by eating jif peanut butter? So jif peanut butter is not vegetarian because of an ingreadient called Diglycerides?
Diglyceride is an alcohol sugar, in organic chem lingo R(OH)2. It simply means the molecule has 2 glycerin substituents attached to it.

I doubt it is not vegetarian.
Forget about all the crap peanut butter you buy at the supermarket. Buy a big bag of roasted unsalted peanuts, whiz them in your blender and voila! peanut butter, without any additives. You'll have to scrape down the sides of the blender a few times but eventually you'll have a batch of the most delicious pb you've ever had. Because it's got no rubbish like sugar or salt in it, you can use it for sweet or savoury. So jif peanut butter is not vegetarian because of an ingreadient called Diglycerides?
I would be more concerned about the hydrogenated and partially-hydrogenated (trans) oils that are in mainstream peanut butter brands, not to mention the laundry list of weird chemical ingredients. You realize that the label can say 0g trans fat, but it really have 0.5g trans fat per serving, right?

Any healthy peanut butter usually has only one or two ingredients: Peanuts or Peanuts, Sea Salt.
You can also order vegan products, including peanut butter, online and have them delivered to you, anywhere that UPS delivers. Check out www.veganessentials.com. I love the Adam's brand. It has one ingredient, PEANUTS. You can find it in normal grocery stores as well as organic health stores.
Hampton Farms its vegan cheap and can be found at wall-mart or save-a-lot very tasty too
Plenty of vegan options at Wal-mart. You do have to work at it though. I doubt the small redneck backwoods bible freak hicks will stop you from buying whatever you want.
