Well, I've wanted to be a vegetarian for a long time. And I'm wondering how I tell my parents that I want to be one. It's a lot harder than just walking up to them and saying: ' I'm a vegetarian now.' Ya' know? So, if you could help. It'd mean a lot.How do I tell my parents I want to be a vegetarian?
Well i would sit them down and tell them tht u want to tell them about something. Ask them to please wait until u r done talking to ask question. Then have ur reasons well thought out and let them know how u feel. If my kiddo came and explained to me that they thought it was cruel and yadda yadda yadda about something then i would support em. But keep in mind that u have to let them know that u have thought about this for a while. On another note there r gonna b vitamins and nutrients tht ur body will not recieve if u do not eat anything but veggies plan ahead and look into how u can find alternate form of those nutrient like beans for protein instead of bessy. Good luck!!
Start off by being a flexitarian (meaning you are a vegetarian as much as possible). I know it's hard to become a vegetarian with your parents around because you dont want to mess up their eating schedule, but if you start cutting back, they'll most likely notice and begin to buy smaller portions of meat to just help themselves. It's gonna be hard at first, but I wish you luck! How do I tell my parents I want to be a vegetarian?
Do some research and then just do it, don't ask. The more independent you can be, the better. The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine has a Vegetarian Starter Kit which can help guide you through the beginning stages with lots of information, facts and research to back the facts about the benefits of plant based nutrition.
Tell them you have cancer and only 6 months to live. When they get all upset over that say "surprise, I'm fine, I'm only a vegetarian." They will be relieved in comparison.
Be prepared to be buying some if your own foods before this happens, your mom isn't running a restaurant there where everyone can just order what they want. How do I tell my parents I want to be a vegetarian?
just don't tell them, and don't eat meat if they start to notice and they ask just tell them you decided to go vegetarian and tell them why you chose to do it, like for example you believe killing an Innocent animal just so you can eat it doesn't seem rite to you. or something like that. GOOD LUCK
Just say you were thinking about going vegetarian with all the research on health you did and benefits of the diet. Just don't push it on them to do it.
Pretend you're on a sit-down comedy TV show. Walk up and say "I now refuse to eat meat. Have fun cooking for me!" or make a different joke like that. Everything's easier when you pretend you're on a TV show
get information to tell them..
a full veg or eggs ok..veg
show how you will live longer and healthier...
Do not ask them to become vegetarians too
With your mouth (made of meat).
